An Invitation from the Valley of Divine Peace.
Dr. Neelam Kaur Ji (Mataji) lovingly invites the global Sangat to the Akal International Gurmat Camp 2025 at Baru Sahib, a place where the mission of rural education and spiritual awakening continues to flourish.
The Akal International Gurmat Camp is more than a summer retreat, it is a gathering of seekers, mentors, students and educators, united by the light of Sikhi, committed to nurturing divine oneness and higher human values.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn Punjabi in a nurturing environment, explore Sikh history and the timeless teachings of the Gurus, and gain a deeper understanding of Gurbani through proper Santhiya (pronunciation).
They will also be introduced to the beauty of Gurmat Sangeet through traditional string instruments like Rabab, Sitar, Taus, Dilruba and many more. Additionally, they will discover the art of Sikh calligraphy, blending devotion with creative expression.
Join us at Baru Sahib from 7th July to 14th August 2025, and be part of this growing movement of seva, learning and spiritual brotherhood.

Akal Academy Baru Sahib: Where Language Meets Legacy
At Akal Academy Baru Sahib, an international boarding school established in 1986, our legacy is built on shaping spiritually grounded, intellectually strong, and expressive individuals. Continuing this tradition of building strong communication skills, the Inter-House Vocabulary Quiz, which was organized by Abhay House in collaboration with the English Department, brought together enthusiastic participants on the stage.
Students across junior and senior levels competed with zeal, showcasing their command over vocabulary and communication.
Through such interactive events, AABS empowers students to:
🔹 Build strong communication and comprehension skills
🔹 Develop critical thinking and mental agility
🔹 Gain confidence in public speaking and self-expression
🔹 Strengthen academic performance
By adopting these practical skills, our learners are not only prepared for academic success, but are also equipped to become articulate leaders, thoughtful citizens, and confident global contributors.

A Teacher Meets Her Mentor!
Yet another heartfelt meeting. During the ongoing UK tour, a devoted teacher met her lifelong mentor, Dr. Neelam Kaur (Advisor, Health & Education, The Kalgidhar Trust), a guiding light for many. Drawn by deep respect and gratitude, she sought blessings, motivation, and direction from Dr. Neelam Kaur, who herself has been a tireless champion of value-based education under the vision of Babaji Dr. Davinder Singh Ji (Mukh Sevadar The Kalgidhar Trust). Inspired by her mentor’s example, she offered her time to volunteer in training other educators, multiplying impact through sewa and shared learning. Her journey is a testament to the power of mentorship and how one teacher’s light can ignite the path for many. One teacher can inspire many, and together, they can transform the world. Let’s continue nurturing generations through wisdom, guidance, and selfless service.
We warmly invite the Sangat from nearby cities to be a part of this spiritual and social awakening.
