Eternal University, Baru Sahib, organised its 13th Convocation Ceremony in the serene Himalayan campus, celebrating the academic achievements, dedication, and perseverance of graduating students across diverse disciplines.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Charan Singh, CEO & Founder Director, EGROW Foundation, and Guest of Honour Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Principal, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi.
The Convocation Ceremony was presided over by Hon’ble Dr. Davinder Singh Ji, Chancellor of Eternal University and President of The Kalgidhar Trust, in the presence of Dr. Neelam Kaur, Vice Chancellor of Eternal University.
A total of 243 degrees were conferred upon students, including:
• 175 Undergraduate Degrees
• 55 Postgraduate Degrees
• 14 Ph.D. Degrees

Completing our College Spotlight series on the occasion of the 13th Convocation Ceremony of Eternal University, Baru Sahib, the final featured college is Akal College of Basic Sciences, dedicated to promoting progressive education, scientific research, and innovation in the fields of Life Sciences and Physical Sciences.
The college comprises six major departments — Botany, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, and Zoology — equipped with ICT-enabled classrooms, advanced laboratories, research infrastructure, centralized learning systems, and comprehensive library facilities.
In alignment with NEP, the college offers four-year undergraduate programmes with research opportunities, encouraging students to actively engage in both basic and applied scientific research under the mentorship of experienced faculty members.
Students are introduced to emerging research areas including biodiversity studies, medicinal plants, nanotechnology, image processing, microbial sciences, bio-fertilizers, biofuels, materials science, solar-based indigenous technologies, antimicrobial resistance research, and eco-friendly scientific innovations.
