Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, Akal Academy Baru Sahib stands as an international co-ed boarding school rooted in values and vision.
With nature as its backdrop and discipline as its foundation, it is now preparing to welcome over 80 schools for All Girls Tennis Tournament.
From 1st to 3rd August, the campus will host the CBSE North Zone Girls’ Tennis Tournament 2025, bringing together:
▪️ Budding sportswomen from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh.
▪️ A spirit of peace and perseverance.
▪️ A celebration of teamwork, talent, and tennis

In these turbulent times, the world needs more than just education — it needs value-based education rooted in compassion, ethics, and spiritual clarity.
During the recent UK tour, it was both humbling and inspiring to reconnect with Akal Academy alumni and members of the Sangat — each one a reflection of the seeds planted decades ago by visionaries like Sant Attar Singh Ji, who envisioned this mission in 1904; its initiation by Sant Teja Singh Ji in 1956; and its actualisation by Baba Iqbal Singh Ji in 1986.
The mission today continues with immense Grace and devotion of like minded people, volunteers and sangat
Education grounded in spirituality can transform young minds into torchbearers of peace. What began as a mission has now become a global movement — one that seeks to heal civilization through inner awakening and collective purpose.
Peace is not the absence of war; it is a virtue, a way of being.

In the serene valley of divine peace, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, Akal Academy Baru Sahib is all set to welcome CBSE schools from 3 states - Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
For the first time ever, the CBSE North Zone Girls’ Tennis Tournament will take place in Himachal Pradesh and we are honoured to host this prestigious event.
As the countdown to August 1st begins, the courts at Baru Sahib will soon resonate with the energy of young athletes— each one bringing with her hours of practice, quiet focus and the spirit of sportsmanship.

Cultural Bonanza 2025 – Hosted & Performed by IB PYP Students!
Akal Academy Baru Sahib's amphitheatre transformed into a vibrant global stage during Cultural Bonanza 2025, where students from Nursery to Grade 5 hosted & performed the entire event.
From Nepal’s traditional attire and instruments to Maharashtra’s energetic Lavani dance and crafts and the rhythmic beats of African drums, each performance radiated energy and cultural pride. Jammu & Kashmir, The Paradise on Earth, mesmerized the audience with folk dances and exquisite artifacts.
The student-led spirit of the Bonanza reflected originality, initiative and ownership. It fostered cultural awareness, global leadership and embodied the values of the IB PYP - reminding us that true learning happens beyond the classroom and embracing diversity nurtures empathy and connection.
